Accounts Payable — Expenses Specialist


The AP-Expenses Specialist is responsible for performing accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

Essential Functions:
  • Assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests
  • Set invoices up for payment
  • Enter and upload invoices into system
  • Rack expenses and process expense reports
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets
  • Data entry & expense report handling
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Maintain confidentiality of organizational information
  • File accounts payable documents by payment date
  • Organize the invoices in folders that represent each day of the month

Physical Demands / Environment:
  • This is primarily an office role. Long periods of sitting, computer work and attention to detail required.

Tools / Equipment:

Education and Training:

Assistant Warehouse Manager (PM)

The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the warehouse efficiencies in the absence of the Director of Distribution. On a daily basis the PM Assistant Manager is responsible for all inbound activities.

Essential Functions:
  • Ability to multi-task with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all inbound receipts are complete and free from damage by managing the Receiving and ShopTeams through daily strategic planning and follow up.
  • Ability to resolve problems with critical thinking skills and remove roadblocks with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible for communication and support of HR Initiatives, including but not limited to: hiring, performance management, implementation and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Must support GrandBrand Core Values on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to work a schedule that supports the needs of the business.

Job Requirements:
  • Knowledge of computerized inventory and tracking systems
  • Ability to attend and communicate strategic plans during meetings and presentations.
  • Communication skills: must possess excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity and be flexible responding to internal and external customer requirements.
  • Must be certified to operate machinery and ensure safety practices are being followed by all employees.

Physical Demands / Environment :
  • This is primarily a warehouse role. Moderate walking, standing and/or climbing; heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching. Working in conditions that are not climate controlled.

Tools / Equipment:
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, and inventory control programs.

  • College degree preferred with at least 5 years of experience in warehouse leadership roles.

Credit Relationship Coordinator

The credit relationship coordinator position is designed to support the GrandBrands Customer Service Department and Retail Stores. This position primary responsibility involves processing customer-financed contracts and contacting customers regarding their accounts. This position will provide strategic management of accounts and relationships with customers in the following areas:

  • Processing new and add-on contracts
  • Maintaining customer records
  • Processing payments

The Credit Relationship Coordinator position is an entry-level position and supporting role within the GrandBrands customer service department. Interested candidates should excel in customer service, listening phone skills, resolving conflict and identifying customers' needs with account management, multi-tasking and quality assurance.

Essential Functions:
  • Greet and welcome guests in a professional manner
  • Opens new guest accounts and provides information to the new and prospective guest by explaining GrandBrands products and services
  • Provide in-person and by-telephone general and specific related information concerning GrandBrands products or policies
  • Respond to guests’ requests, problems, and complaints, resolving issues, and/or directing them to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance.
  • Answer questions, provide information and/or route calls appropriately
  • Processes all guests’ transactions in person, and/or via phone
  • Utilizes tact and experienced-based knowledge to research and resolve guest inquiries explaining specific policies, procedures, products, and/or services

Delivery Driver — Shuttle/Repo Drivers

Reports to: Asst. Distribution Center Manager

Department: Distribution Center


The Delivery Driver must ensure safe operation, loading and unloading of a given delivery truck. The Delivery Driver ensures safe and timely deliveries to customer locations. The Driver will maintain vehicle(s) with correct fluids, clean interior/exterior and timely completion of delivery records. The Delivery Driver ensures all deliveries are made to customer's place of business and/or job site.

The Delivery Driver Associate will work in a team environment to meet overall Distribution Center production goals and objectives. The Delivery Driver assists with cleanliness throughout the Distribution Center and ensures a safe working environment

Essential Functions:
  • Delivery and set up of furniture in customer's home, removing old furniture when necessary. Complete all paperwork involved.
  • Meets or exceeds performance standards determined for each of the functions with assigned duties.
  • Help with work orders as part of the daily delivery route.
  • Help upload freight trucks.
  • May help unpack and sample merchandise to the sales floor.
  • Responsible for the condition of the truck and responsible to write daily truck maintenance reports.
  • Supervise work of Delivery Helper.
  • May inspect and touch up merchandise prior to loading.
  • Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
  • Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
  • Backup Distribution Center duties when not on a delivery.
  • Operate vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.

Lift Operator Associate (Put away, Picking, Shuttle, Customer Pick Up)


The Lift Operator Associate is responsible in assisting material handlers in moving inventory in and out of bin locations while properly documenting all inventory movements. The Lift Operator Associate will work in a team environment to meet overall Distribution Center production goals and objectives. The Lift Operator assists with cleanliness throughout the Distribution Center and ensures a safe working environment.

Primary Functions:
  • Performs the picking, pulling for delivery and customer pick up areas.
  • Meets or exceeds performance standards determined for each of the functions with assigned duties.
  • Practices safe and secure material handling methods and distributes merchandise properly in accordance with product handling standards.
  • Practices safe and secure loading methods to utilize the maximum amount of space and avoid damages.
  • Reports errors found on documents to supervisor.
  • Completes all documentation neatly and accurately using RF equipment.
  • Stamps merchandise.
  • Operates manual and mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
  • Utilizes Distribution Center Management System.
  • Completes yearly scheduled safety and procedure training.
  • Performs picking and putaway processes at elevated heights (20’ – 40’).
  • Maintain a safe work environment, including performing job functions in a safe manner, daily inspections of equipment, and maintaining good housekeeping practices.

General Warehouse Associate


The General Warehouse Associates' primary role is to become certified and flex between departments as needed to include Lift Driver Dept, Staging Dept, Receiving Dept, RTS Dept, Customer Pick-up Dept, Repo Dept, and Floor Support.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform the picking, pulling for the delivery and customer pick up areas
  • Receives, and assembles furniture and other related products per furniture plans and blueprints, using small hand-held power tools
  • Load and position merchandise into delivery line in reverse loading order
  • Check all merchandise off manifest by SKU and description as it is loaded (e.g. if the order calls for a queen headboard and it is a full headboard, do not load the incorrect merchandise)
  • Open all case goods and ensure setup is ready along with hardware
  • Inspect all merchandise and ensure there is no damage
  • Receives and unloads merchandise both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and hand dolly
  • Unload and unpack new merchandise shipments, and prepare them for the selling floor by preparing merchandise to include assembly, cleaning the product, and attachment of accessories if needed
  • Deliver new merchandise to the appropriate department for placement on the selling floor or stock area

Sales Associate

Sales Associates are vital to delivering the guest experience that offers a distinctive shopping experience and drives sales results. While all positions within GrandBrands require working as part of a team to meet department and store objectives, your individual responsibilities as a Sales Associate may include demonstrating outstanding guest service and selling skills.

Essential Functions:
  • Meeting and making a connection with guests, asking questions, and listening to their needs, then giving options and advice on meeting those needs.
  • Inspiring the guest to purchase, celebrating the purchase, and creating a lasting positive impression of you, GrandBrands, and the overall experience.
  • Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting GrandBrands commitment to our guest – the most important person in our stores.
  • Develop product knowledge by reading current vendor tags and pamphlets and attending training classes in order to communicate it to the guest.
  • Maintain sales goals and selling standards as specified by management.
  • Must be able to produce a level of sales required by management and GrandBrands policy by connecting with guests, selling products, and meeting their needs.
  • Reinforce guest selection (Opening the Sale).
